The WageIndicator project in Belarus, Mojazarplata.by, has launched its edition of the DecentWorkCheck.
The site offers visitors from Belarus the possibilities to compare their work place with national laws and international standards on work conditions.
The project has already started in ten other countries, including India and Brazil, but the site in Belarus is special, says WageIndicator director Paulien Osse, who last week visited the region. "The country needs still quite some improvements on different right, including the right for free trade unions, so this site can add more value than elsewhere," she says.
