Joining the ITUC 1st Women's Conference - 9 Oct. 2009

A large international team of journalists from the WageIndicator will join the first Women Conference of the international trade union federation ITUC in the third week of October. 

On four sites and four languages, using Twitter, eight journalists from four continents will report on the proceedings and the background. You can start following the preparations at Twitter. (@ITUCwomen) By subscribing to the twitter account, you can follow the event also remotely.

The conference is held in Brussels from 19 to 21 October and focuses on Decent Work – Decent Life for Women: Trade Unions Taking the Lead for Economic and Social Justice & Equality. On Tuesday morning, 20 October, WageIndicator director Paulien Osse will moderate a panel discussion on gender equality.
