Many are seeking work abroad as cost of living continues to increase and many people cannot make ends meet with their wages.
During a conference organised by the central confederation the participants discussed the fact that current wage growth is not meeting people’s expectations which is why many are seeking work abroad as cost of living continues to increase and many people cannot make ends meet with their wages. The head of the trade unions formulated one of the key questions: ‘Do we want to continue seeing our wages grow 5, 7 or 10% a year and know that we will catch up with the EU only in 25 or 30 years, or do we have economic possibilities and are we ready to make an effort to catch up with the West faster?’
