Lithuania -Unemployment declines in 2013 -February 14, 2014

In 2013, the unemployment rate declined and the activity rate increased. The unemployment rate declined from 13.4% in 2012 to 11.8% in 2013. In the 4th quarter of 2013, the youth (persons aged 15–24) employment rate stood at 24.9%; over a quarter, it decreased by 1 percentage point. It is expected that the unemployment rate will decline to 10% in 2014.
