Spain -Productivity agreement for Iberia pilots -February 13, 2014

Airline Iberia and pilots’ union Sepla have reached an agreement on productivity and wages, which ends a conflict that has troubled the relationship since 2012. Under the agreement, the fleet of the low cost carrier Iberia Express is limited to 14 planes, Iberia pilots will fly the maximum allowed 900 hours per year and wages will be frozen through to 2015. From 2015, wage increases will be linked to the company’s profitability.
