Minimum Wages in Mozambique with effect from June 1, 2013

The minimum wage for agricultural workers, the lowest of all wages, has been increased to 2500 meticais (61,5 dollars), which represents an increase of 8,70 %. 
At the opposite end are the workers in financial activities, whose minimum wage, already the highest, have benefited from an increase of 10,47%, that is 6817 meticais (167,6 dollars).
As to public sector, including health, defence and security, the increase depends on professional careers, but can't be less than 7%.
